She is a descendent of a great medicine man OLD PIERRE

I create my OWN healing symbols and meld them with the old pictographs from the Stein Valley which is the shared territory of our people in Mt. Currie, and the Lytton People and all reserves in-between.

Valerie Andrew is a 43 yr. old Coast Salish Aboriginal artist, whose background lineage leans heavily towards deep spirituality and healing. Her Great Grandfather was internationally renowned Shaman OLD PIERRE, whose teachings have far ranging effects, and crystallizes with the spiritual and healing jewelry created by Valerie.

Her unique and sacred designs reflect her spirituality, and many of the ancient pictographs discovered recently on her reserve of Mt. Currie B.C. are featured within her artwork.

Valerie works mostly in copper, silver, and ivory. Her pieces are in many treasured collections world wide. Each work of art is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, layered with special meaning, and symbolism. All designs can be worn by men or women or young and old! Each one is hand-etched, hammered, and then individually smudged and blessed upon completion.
